I love Carey Mulligan, she's a great actress and a fantastic style icon. A friend of mine put a few pictures from this shoot on Tumblr - she's into suits and masculine style, and I really loved it!
 
Another friend of mine is obsessed with chino's and owns a pair very similar to these, and my boyfriend desperately wants those brogues (They're the exact ones from the TV show Boardwalk Empire), but not for $600 though!!

Something odd has happened.... I have found a new love for ninety's fashion... :/ I have no idea why; but it really appeals.
 
Anyway i wore this to the city the other day. It looks pretty 90s to me.
 
That is NEARLY the actual shirt I own, mine isn't a tie one, although I could wear it tied (I don't.) It's from forever new. The skirt is a basic denim one; the black bag's slightly wrong, mine is actually more like really dark brown, and has an envelope opening; my favourite black boots; bright pink/fuschia lips and, surprisingly, those are actually the earrings I own. I got them from a market on holidays last month.
 
Minimalist 90s. That's what i'm thinking.

I used to want to go to France heeeeaps. I still do haha, but i've got half the world on my to do list. Anyway this has been chillen in my drafts box for EVER, so i thought i'd finally finish it. I'm a fan of that skirt i must say.

what;;;???;;; haha i had to try out this template thingy; its so weirrrrrd!! whats the point, its just click and drag - Done! So boring. But kinda fun to make it look good within the restrictions - really makes you think about colour and size more i spose.

I wore this to a classical music festival last weekend. The grey jumper is a mens one from target, the dress (yeah its a dress not a skirt) is a plain, lace one I thrifted, the boots my favourite Miss Shop ones and the socks don't matter except the colour. (< you could see them when i walked because my dress is JUST on ankle length).
I actually think thats the exact eyeshadow colour i've been wearing (Bourjois - good stuff) and I didn't have fake eyelashes; they are a symbol (lol) of the focus on eyes instead of lips, and there was empty space to fill ;)

I wore this shopping the other day; except with a skirt that my mum made a long time ago, a silk t-shirt and navy sweater that i thrifted, boots from Miss Shop and Loreal lipstick in Milla purple. Oh and i can't remember if i wore my tortoise shell winged sunglasses or my pink rimmed ones, but either would work I think.
I called it strider because when ever I wear those boots my walk becomes so confident and big; they're so much fun for black haha.
